Patricia Whalen JD'79 began her career at Legal Aid and went on to serve as an international judge. Today she is part of a seven-member International Association of Women Judges team that has helped some 200 Afghan women judges and their families - more than 1,000 people - escape the Taliban. She received the ABA's 2023 World Order Under Law Award.
